I have tried hard to make a css menu based skin using SEOMenu but find it very difficult. Eventually achieved something reasonable and tried to create a version that used range 0 instead of -1.
It refused to display only the currently selected tab links, so I decided to uninstall/delete the skins and SEO modules and reinstall them using the latest version (3.5.8).
Now I cannot reinstall the SEOMenupa. The following ("file in use error") occurs and some DesktopModules/SEOMenu/applocal_resources/... files are inaccessible/won't update.
How do I fix this?
(The skinobject, seoadmin, and menumodulepa appear to have installed correctly)

Ok, It seems like when you tried deleting the Module, It did not delete the local resource file. It may be because some how some one on the host has the file open, so it doesn't get deleted.
I would try to ftp into your site and delete the file and see if you get an error, if not I would try deleting the module again, ftp your site see if the folders still exist if they do delete them and try reinstalling it agian.
